Mateusz Wadowski is a graduate of the classical double bass class at the Witold Lutosławski Secondary Music School in Białystok and The Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He is currently continuing his education at the university in the jazz double bass class.
Since 2017, he had the pleasure of working with The Orchestra of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, since 2019 with The National Forum of Music Wrocław Philharmonic (where he also graduated from the NFM Orchestra Academy), since 2020 with The Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, where he held the position of the leader of the double bass group since 2021.
He played concerts in many renowned halls across Europe and the globe, among others: Kristian Jaarvi’s orchestra – Baltic Sea Philharmonic, Neue Philharmonie München, Santander Orchestra, Polish Youth Orchestra LYO, Sommerskolen på Halsnøy or Valdres Sommersymfoni.
He is a graduate of the 8th edition of Sinfonia Varsovia Academy.
