Bass trombonist, graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, which he finished with honours in 1994.
Mariusz Opaliński has been working with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra since 1991 and was employed as a full-time member in 1993.
He has also been a member of the Orchestra of the Grand Theatre-National Opera since 1995.
He plays with many orchestras in Poland and abroad.
Opaliński is a founding member of the Chamber Brass ensemble, with which he has recorded the first album of music for brass quintet in Poland.
For his activity he has honoured with the Order of Distinguished Service for Warsaw in 2014.
