On May 19, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Leonora Armelini, Italian pianist and laureate of, among others, 5th prize at the 18th International Piano Competition. Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw. Despite her young age, the artist has been appreciated at many Italian competitions and festivals, in which she has been participating since the age of six. She also performed in the world's most important concert halls, including: Carnegie Hall in New York, the Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg, Salle Cortot in Paris and the Millennium Monument Theater in Beijing.
This year's inaugural concerts will be honored by the presence of the Sinfonia Varsovia orchestra. This wonderful Warsaw orchestra, conducted by Marta Kluczyńska, will perform Fryderyk Chopin's greatest works together with pianists.
Admission to all Sunday Chopin Concerts is free . The series is co-financed by the City of Warsaw.
