Sinfonia Varsovia Brass is a unique presence on the Polish music scene – an entertainment ensemble with a philharmonic pedigree. Its players come from Sinfonia Varsovia’s brass section, but in this brass ensemble they prove that classical repertoire is by no means their only domain. On the contrary, the ensemble’s impressive precision and distinctive sound captivate listeners whether they’re performing songs by Henryk Wars, swing-era standards, fusion classics, music by Quincy Jones or film hits like The Incredibles. This open-air concert is the festival’s only free event. It is organised in partnership with two key institutions based in Warsaw’s Kamionek district – SWPS University and Sinfonia Varsovia.
