The most famous Czech opera prepared by the famous German opera director. This is Christof Loy’s second approach to Rusalka (he previously directed it at the Deutsche Oper Berlin). Reviews of the Madrid production highlighted the excellent direction, especially of the dancers and extras in Act II. The beautiful and talented Lithuanian soprano Asmik Grigorian in the title role is, according to Spanish reviewers, stunning.
