The Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra Receives Honorary Pearl Award from “Polish Market”

We have the pleasure of announcing that on 23 June 2014, “Polish Market’s” Chapter of Laureates of the 9th Edition of Honorary Pearls awarded the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra an Honorary Pearl in the culture category.

In accordance with the concept set out by the Polish Market monthly, which has also established the award, the title of Honorary Pearl is awarded to persons and institutions whose professional output, experience, prestige and ethos warrant their designation as ambassadors of the loftiest Polish values.
Honorary Pearls are awarded in the following categories: economy, science, culture, propagation of community values and propagation of patriotic values.

So far, Honorary Pearls in the culture category were awarded to Wojciech Kilar, Urszula Dudziak, Małgorzata Walewska, Janusz Olejniczak, Marcin Bronikowski, Bernard Ładysz and Jerzy Maksymiuk.

The Honorary Pearl award ceremony will take place during the annual Gala of Pearls of the Polish Economy under the honorary patronage of the Minister of the Economy and President of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
