Everyone’s welcome to celebrate St. Nicholas’ Day at Grochowska Street!

On Sunday, 6 December there will be many attractions waiting for you in the home of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra at 272 Grochowska Street. Every one of our guests will have an opportunity to make Christmas decorations under the eye of professional instructors from the Praga Południe Centre for the Promotion of Culture and sing and play together with hosts from the Music is for Everyone Foundation. Santa Claus will also drop by and everyone will be able to have a souvenir photograph taken in our photo booth.

All those who play an instrument – children and adults – please join us in an open workshop in STAYnia [“STAYble”] – an Experimental Music Workshop that will provide an opportunity to enjoy music regardless of how good they are. Please bring your own instruments – many of you certainly have guitars at home.

Finally, see a concert by the Singin’ Birds accompanied by a wind section. Singin’ Birds is the first Polish group which brings home the American tradition from the first half of the 20th century – of swing vocal groups singing in close harmony. The concert will surely be enjoyed by listeners young and old.
