She is the laureate of many prizes at international violin competitions, including 3rd prize at the 13th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań in 2006. Following a three-stage audition competition for the position of concertmaster of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra which began in December of 2014, after an excellent performance of works from orchestral and violin repertoire and leading a spectacular orchestral rehearsal, Anna Maria Staśkiewicz was invited to join the Orchestra as acting concertmaster.
